You Rebel is a product that was developed by a company that goes by the name of Benefit. This product is marketed as an anti-wrinkle agent. Usually, the purpose of these types of reviews are to examine the ingredients and see if the product contains any known ingredients that have been proven and tested to be an effective agent in wrinkle reduction. We are going to examine this product with the available resources to see if this product can be used to decrease the wrinkles and fine lines that appear on your face incurred during the aging process.

Product Details

You Rebel by Benefit was found to be available in 2 different shades, light and medium. Some women may ask “What is the purpose of having 2 different shades if it is a wrinkle cream?”. So we are going to answer this question to the best of our knowledge. Based on the information that was found on a retailer’s website, You Rebel contains SPF 15, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, and Aloe Vera.

The SPF is often used as a sun block to protect the skin form harmful UVA and UVB rays that comes from the sun. This ingredient is not said to have any known benefits to aid in reducing the appearance of wrinkles. However, the sun is known to cause premature signs of aging.<?p>

Vitamin E and Vitamin A are thought to be used as an antioxidants in this product. An antioxidant is important because it is thought that it can prevent free radicals from harming the already existing skin cells. Aloe Vera is a non-toxic ingredient that has a universal use. It is used mostly as a healing agent, not only on the skin, but in almost anything else that you can think of. The product also contains what they call “a hint of tint.” This is not an ingredient, but merely a description of something that may be included in this product. It is believed that the function of this “ingredient” is to reflect the light in order to produce an optical illusion of a decrease in wrinkles. We find that while there may be some ingredients that can help in the prevention of wrinkles, there are none found that have been proven to eliminate already existing wrinkles.

The Good

  • Contains an SPF 15.
  • Contains Antioxidants.

The Bad

  • Appears to only deliver optical illusions of decreasing wrinkles.
  • Does not appear to have any proven ingredients.
  • Very little information is available about this product.
  • Only evidence of negative testimonies were found.

The Bottom Line

If you are looking for a product to reduce the wrinkles and lines on your face, if you are considering You Rebel, you may be looking in the wrong place. While it may deter any further damage to your skin caused by sunrays and free radicals, it has not shown to have the proper ingredients to provide anything more that some sort of diversion created by particles that reflect light off of the wrinkles and lines. If you are looking for a quick fix that only lasts until the product is taken off, then this product may be right for you, but if you want real results you may want to search elsewhere.
