Willa Krause is a company based out of South Africa that was founded by Willa Krause herself in the year of 1991. It appears that this company has created a full line of skin care products based on what some believe to be the necessary herbs and vitamins that are needed to provide healthy skin. In this review it is the anti-aging products that will be our main focus. We will examine the ingredients to the best of our abilities in order to determine whether or not these products are eligible enough to be named as anti-wrinkle agents.

Product Details

When researching the website there was no specific listings for anti-aging products, but here are some that we believe will fall into that category. These products include Renewal Glycolic Peel Kit, Age Control-Prevent and Repair, Age Control-Prevent Eye & Lip Perfection, Anti-aging Firma Lift, Firma Lift Neck and Bust Cream, Moisture facial lift mist, Concentrated Tissue Oil, Collagen Serum and Lifting Gel. These products are listed under their “Special Products” category.

First we will start with the Anti-aging Firma lift. Claims have been made that this product can revitalize the skin and help repair sun damage. The main ingredients that it appears to have are Allointin, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and Antioxidants. While Allointin may be slightly effective, there have been more proven ingredients available since the original production of this item, it is a concern that it may not be as effective as some of the other products out there.

Now we will take a look at Age Control-Prevent and Repair, and Anti-aging Firma Lift. Both of these products could provide an ingredient known as Ceramides, which is considered to have an important place in the makeup of our skin. Ceramides are used to hydrate and create a barrier against harmful free radicals that may attack the skin. However the ingredients in these products may not be clinically proven to reduce the actual signs of aging like other products with ingredients that are back by positive scientific studies.

The other, Age Control-Prevent Eye and Lip Perfection seems to mostly contain Antioxidants. While this is encouraged, we still would like to see more ingredients that are known to control the signs of aging around the eyes and lips.

The Bottom Line

This particular skin care line appears to be an excellent source of antioxidants that are essential in helping to repair and prevent damaged skin. The only thing that was found that may cause any concern is the fact that the products don’t seem to be backed by any studies, nor do they appear to contain any proven or patented ingredients. It is believed that most potential consumers, when considering purchasing an anti-wrinkle agent, tend to lean more toward the products that have proven ingredients. Without more studies on these products it cannot be determined how effective they can actually be in reducing the signs of aging.
