Too Faced Cosmetics was started in 1998 by former sitcom actor Jarrod Blandino with the help of businessman Jeremy Johnson. The two created a company offering “an irreverent, sophisticated and trendy cosmetic line,” according to one website. The philosophy of the company is “Why be pretty, when you can be gorgeous?” The company offers a full line of cosmetics, but very little in actual skin care. We did find one anti-aging product under the primers category; a wrinkle injection designed to be used prior to applying foundation. We will explore this product more closely later in this review.
Too Faced sells the products directly on their website. The line is also available through numerous online retailers and beauty supply and department stores. We were disappointed to find that the company does not offer any sort of refund on used products, meaning that a customer cannot return items that they find unsatisfactory. We were equally disappointed that Too Faced Cosmetics does not provide customer testimonials to back the claims of the products. We believe that this sort of information, along with a return policy, allows consumers to shop online with confidence, rather than taking their chances on products they have never used before.
Product Details
The Too Faced Wrinkle Injection claims to instantly smooth the skin and fill in wrinkles from within. The ingredients that are in the Wrinkle Injection include Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Cyclohexasiloxane, Diacetyl Boldine, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Arctosaphylos UVA, Ursi Leaf Extract, Morus Alba Leaf Extract, Dimethiconol, Methicone, Silica. (+/-): Titanium Dioxide (CI77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77489), Iron Oxides (CI77891, CI77491, CI 77499).
While we appreciate the fact that Too Faced Cosmetics provides a complete ingredient list for their products, we do not see anything in this supposed wrinkle filler that will effectively diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In order to make such a claim, we would expect the formula to include patented wrinkle reducers like argireline and matrixyl, or at least an effective skin hydrator like hyaluronic acid. This formula contains none of these substances, which makes us wonder exactly how those line and wrinkles would miraculously disappear.
The Good
- Too Faced offers a full line of cosmetics for a reasonable price.
- The company provides complete ingredient lists on the products.
The Bad
- The company does not provide refunds on opened products.
- There are no skin care products included in the line.
- The wrinkle filler does not contain any proven anti-aging ingredients.
The Bottom Line
While women might enjoy shopping for cosmetics from this trendy company, there is little available from Too Faced for those looking for skin care products. The only formula that claims to be used for anti-aging purposes does not have a single proven ingredient in the list. We would encourage women to look for other companies and products for their anti-aging needs.

(Optional- For Enhanced Results): Hydrolyze
Editor's Review: 4.6 / 5.0After looking at so many anti-aging treatments, we've seen that the delicate skin around the eyes can be a real problem area for many people. Dark circles can make you look years older, and for some people even a good night's sleep won't make them go away. That's why we were so excited to find Hydrolyze, which has been formulated by industry experts specifically as an under-eye treatment. The makers of Hydrolyze are so confident in their product that they offer potential users a Risk Free Trial so they can see the results for themselves. Hydrolyze contains the break-through ingredient Haloxyl, which has been shown to reduce under-eye discoloration between 40%-60% in a clinical case study.
