Strixaderm MD is a topical anti-wrinkle cream formulated by Pure Source, currently discontinued by its manufacturer. It is not clear if it is permanently discontinued; nevertheless, it will be evaluated in case it is brought back to the market.
Strixaderm MD is yet another anti-wrinkle cream promising to deliver quick, effective results, such as reducing signs of age, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, completely removing stretch marks, improving the general look of the skin, and improving the skin’s elasticity (a component that decreases sagging in the skin). Strixaderm claims its one-of-a-kind formula will revitalize the skin and reduce signs of age, but they offer no evidence — besides emphasizing the use of palmitoyl pentapetide, a chemical compound. They claim this compound helps remove wrinkles and improves elasticity in the skin.
There is no doubt any woman desires to eliminate wrinkles in a snap, and Strixaderm MD claims it can do it all. Simply apply and go about your day to see the results — no fancy application needed. Strixaderm MD claims you’ll see results in 6 weeks, and packed with a 30-day money back guarantee and a cheap price tag (one tube of Strixaderm previously retailed for $39.79), this appears to be an affordable solution for all women. Evaluating the scientific portion of its formulation will show how it truly works.
Product Details
Strixaderm MD contains these ingredients: Deionized Water, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Sesame Oil, Caprylic/Capric/Triglycerides, Almond oil, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide, Phyllanthus Emblica Fruit Extract, Siegesbeckia Orietalis Extract, Polyglyceryl Methacrylate, Propylene Glycol, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Glucosamine HCI, Algae Extract, Stri Vera Blend (Aloe vera, yeast extract, urea, Butylene Glycol, Hydrocotyl Extract, Coneflower Extract, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch, Imperata Cylindrica Root Extract, Bearberry Extract and Licorice Extract), Glycerin, PPG -12/SMDI Copolymer, Glyceryl Stearate and PEG – 100 Stearate, Cocoa Butter, Stearic Acid, Shea Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate, Mango Butter, Peppermint Oil, Methylparaben, Xanthan gum, Propylparaben, Triethanolamine, DMDM Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Disodium EDTA, Retinyl Palmitate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate.
Strixaderm claims most of its success is derived from Palmitoyl Pentapeptide, also named Matrixyl by some experts. Palmitoyl Pentapeptide is a popular ingredient in many skin products, but it is not necessarily effective. Early studies show Palmitoyl Pentapeptide helped increase the production of collagen, which is a key component in skin elasticity. Strixaderm’s other ingredients only help soften the skin and offer no anti-wrinkle benefits. This fact alone could be why Strixaderm is no longer available.
The Good
- Palmitoyl Pentapeptide helps increase collagen production.
- Some ingredients help improve the look and feel of skin.
The Bad
- Strixaderm MD is currently discontinued.
- It does not offer many proven ingredients.
- Buying Strixaderm MD from third-party web vendors is discouraged since there is no guarantee you will even be getting the original formula.
The Bottom Line
Consumer eager to try Strixaderm need to look elsewhere. Strixaderm is currently discontinued, as are many self-professed miracle creams, but it could have offered some skin benefits. Consumers are encouraged to look for similar products for a convenient alternative.

The same thing happened to me. I returned for credit. They said it was never received, so I’ve learned a $69.95 lesson.
This crap didn’t work to make matters worse.

I received No Wrinkles Now via snailmail on Friday, October 7, 2011. The pump does not work and it appears the container may not be filled with the product. I would either like to receive another order that works, or a refund of my 29.95. My order # is 1070629 and the account # is 15723. Date on receipt is 9/30/2011. As your email to me will be filtered into junk mail, I would prefer you call my phone number to alert me as to how this will be addressed. 606-424-1604. Thank you.

Package came in the mail along w/ invoice for $69.95 billed to my Visa card.I NEVER ordered it & never heard of it.No way to contact company to cancel & return the products.Tried calling 800 number & either got no answer or 15 min on hold then disconnected. My credit card Co contacted me & said it was fraud & is taking care of it.BUYER BEWARE.It all started when I ordered a certain prodect & cancelled it after 2nd jar.Strixaderm’s 800 number doesn’t work & no such web page as support@strixadermMD.com so how does one cancel the product? As I said I didn’t order it,I don’t want it & want to cancel it.I have to thank my credit card company for being on watch & sent me a letter in the mail the day after I recieved the product, giving me their 800 no.for their FRAUD dept.& are helping me with this matter.

Received trial supply, yet I never ordered it. Had my name, but incorrect street number, not my email, nor my correct phone# or credit card #. Don’t know what to do now? Can they really send me a monthly supply and charge whatever credit card its on for 69.95?
