Steiner Cosmetics was founded in 1996 by Daniela and Ulrike Steiner and Paul Pizzinini and is headquartered in Italy. Steiner Cosmetics partners with prestigious hotels in running “state of the art” spas, currently operating eleven such spas in Europe. In addition to the spas, Steiner Cosmetics has created a line of skin care products. Many Health Spas promote their own line of products as a way to “up sell” their clientele and keep them coming back for additional treatments. Care Suite Active Skin Wear seems to be the only one of the Steiner Cosmetic items intended to target the problem of anti-aging of the facial skin. The product promises to “contrast the early signs of aging” of the skin, giving it a well-groomed and radiant look for the whole day. According to the official website, the ingredients included in the product are Helianthus Anuus (Vitamin A extracted from sunflower seed) and Thuya Extract (tree of life). There are no advanced anti-aging ingredients listed in the product such as Matrixyl 3000 or Hyaluronic Acid. The official website does not make the products available for purchase online nor does the website direct consumers to where the products can be found. There are no before and after photos and no clinical research posted on the Steiner Cosmetics website.
