The Skintelligence skin care line consists of numerous products for cleansing, moisturizing and treating the skin. Products include a cleansing emulsion, a revitalizing complex, moisturizer and a firming mask, perfecting complex, and a skin normalizer. You can also purchase a complete set of the Skintelligence products in standard sizes or travel sizes for taking on the road with you. At the time of this review, the products range in price from about $15 to $40, with discounts offered when you purchase a set.
We were unable to locate a company website detailing the Skintelligence skin care line. While this in itself is not necessarily a bad thing, lack of an online presence often signifies that the company is not offering a high quality product. We are also concerned about the fact that lack of a website also means that information on the products is difficult to come by, along with facts like customer testimonials, clinical studies and money back guarantee policies. It is also difficult to find the Skintelligence products for purchase, although we did find a handful of online retailers offering products from this line.
Product Details
For the purpose of this review, we will take a closer look at one of the Skintelligence products that appears to be marketed to the anti-aging crowd – the Skintelligence Alpha 24. This product claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve the softness and smoothness of your skin and brighten your complexion. It also states that it can improve discolorations in the skin and prevent acne breakouts. It can be used with all skin types.
The main active ingredient in the Skintelligence Alpha 24 is a mix of alpha hydroxy acids, which are known for their ability to exfoliate the skin and leave smoother, fresher skin underneath. However, alpha hydroxy acids can also be very irritating to the skin and leave it vulnerable to the damaging effects of the sun. To alleviate these issues, Skintelligence Alpha 24 provides two different sunscreen ingredients and hyaluronic acid – one of the best skin hydrators available. However, other known anti-wrinkle ingredients like matrixyl and argireline are noticeably absent from the ingredient list.

The Bottom Line
When it is difficult to find sufficient information about a company or a product, it is more challenging to know whether the product really is a good value. The Skintelligence Alpha 24 has some ingredients that may help revive the skin, but won’t be particularly effective in reducing the appearance of deeper wrinkles. There are other wrinkle fighting products with more effective ingredients and more company and product information readily available.
