SkinEnergizer produces an extensive line of skin care products for a number of conditions including anti-aging, acne, stretch marks, spider veins, toe fungus, hair care, and diet aids. Some of SkinEnergizer’s products are manufactured by the company and some are distributed for other companies. Consumers may be left wondering if a company with so many products can give enough attention to each product to make sure that it is as potent and effective as possible.

The SkinEnergizer anti-wrinkle products include their signature product, Anti Wrinkle 55 Wrinkle Cream. SkinEnergizer claims that the Anti Wrinkle 55 will eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, fight free radicals, and is hydrating to the skin. It also touts itself as “better than Botox.” Dozens, if not hundreds, of products make a similar claim so we will review the ingredients in the next section to see whether Anti Wrinkle 55 might be able to deliver on its promises. The SkinEnergizer website is informative and the company provides a full description of the product, application instructions and a full ingredient list, all things we like to see from a skin care products manufacturer. All products can be purchased from the company’s website and a 30-day money-back guarantee is offered.

Product Details

According to the SkinEnergizer website, the ingredients in the Anti Wrinkle 55 are: Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis (Organic Aloe) Leaf Juice, Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 (Argireline), Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate), Vegetable Glycerin, Cucumber Extract, Carbomer, L-Arginine, Gold Flakes, Germall Plus.

The two stand out ingredients in the list are Argireline and hyaluronic acid. Argiriline is a hexapeptide that has been clinically-proven to reduce wrinkles by relaxing the underlying facial muscles. Hyaluronic acid (HA) can hold over 1,000 times its own weight in water and can deeply hydrate the skin. While we feel that these two ingredients make SkinEnergizer Anti Wrinkle 55 worth another look, we do like to see these two age fighters teamed up with another peptide, Matrixyl 3000 which stimulates the body’s own production of collagen.

The Good

  • Contains Argireline and hyaluronic acid.
  • Available for purchase from manufacturer’s website.
  • Money-back guarantee offered.

The Bad

  • Does not contain Matrixyl 3000.
  • No links on website to clinical studies supporting the effectiveness of the product.
  • No product samples available.

The Bottom Line

We feel that consumers could do much worse than SkinEnergizer Anti Wrinkle 55. With both Argireline and hyaluronic acid, consumers are likely to experience a visual result with this product. However, we prefer products that also contain Matrixyl 3000 to really provide long-lasting drastic results. Consumers may wish to search for a product that contains all three from a manufacturer that has thoroughly tested the product and provides test results on their website.

I purchased a Deurer skin laser from skinenergizer and they will not refund my money. The claim the manufacturer should; however, the manufacturer does not sell to Skinenergizer. Skinenergizer purchased it from someone and is selling it.

    Terrible!
