Skindinavia is a line of skin care products designed to complement and enhance makeup. Although the company does not manufacture the makeup itself, its products claim to chill the surface of the makeup to prevent shining, running and streaking and to reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. The Skindinavia products provide temporary fixes to aging skin but do not appear to be able to correct the problems, only mask them. The Skindinavia website is reasonably easy to navigate and informative. The company provides a page that lists all of the ingredients in each Skindinavia product. This is something we like to see as it allows consumers to come to their own conclusions about the quality of the products and also allows those with skin sensitivities and allergies to determine how the product might react with their skin. Products can be purchased directly from the Skindinavia website. We were unable to locate any information regarding a manufacturer’s guarantee or a return policy. We prefer products that allow the consumer to return the product for a refund if they feel it did not do what it promised to do.

We like the fact that Skindinavia lists all of its ingredients in each product. The products are parabens-free, which we also appreciate. Parabens are cosmetic preservatives that are known allergens and suspected carcinogens. Many higher-quality skin care manufacturers exclude these ingredients for that reason. However, in reviewing the ingredient lists for the Skindinavia products, it becomes clear that our first hunches were correct. The products simply mask fine lines and wrinkles but do nothing to treat them. When the products are washed off the face at the end of the day, the wrinkles remain.
There are several ingredients that can be found in the best anti-wrinkle products on the market today that do not appear to be included in the Skindinavia formulations. Hyaluronic acid is clinically-proven to penetrate deeply and rehydrate the skin.
