Shaklee is the name of a health and wellness company that specializes in products for consumers who want to better their bodies and life. The company was founded in the 1950s and began as a cleaning company rather than a company based on health and wellness. Later, the Shaklee Corporation moved into nutritional supplements, health supplements, personal products, and water / air care products. The “claim to fame” for the Shaklee Company is the Shaklee Enfuselle Enfutox. This product is more than an anti-wrinkle product, according to the Shaklee Corporation, it is a product that reduces wrinkles in minutes.
Product Features
The first word of caution regarding the Shaklee Corporation is the claim that no ingredients are included that may cause skin irritation. With ingredient lists for some of the Shaklee products containing witch hazel, alcohol, menthol and fragrance, people with sensitive skin should beware of the product line.
The major product, the Shaklee Enfuselle Enfutox contains a laundry list of antioxidants. Antioxidants are used to combat the effect of free radicals on the skin. Free radicals are the number one cause of skin aging and thus these ingredients are truly important in anti-aging products. However, anti-wrinkle products need to contain more than just antioxidants in order to optimally treat the effect of aging on the skin. With only antioxidants on the ingredient list, the “dramatic” results are just not supported.
There is an official website for all of the Shaklee products. The website offers product ordering and information on the products, but there are no testimonials supporting the products and their antiaging claims. There are also no before and after photos which need to be posted if the product claims instant results.

With a background of more than 50 years, it is no wonder people trust the Shaklee name. But, the one stop shopping this company offers does not mean they are the best choice for anti-wrinkle solutions. The antioxidant rich creams may be great for the skin, as long as the consumer is not sensitive to the ingredients, but the products are not the best on the market. Consumers should research products that provide consumer testimonials, before and after photos and scientific support for the ingredients before choosing the right anti-wrinkle product.
