Revaleskin is a line of skin care products, albeit a short line, that touts the wonder ingredient coffee berry as the difference in these product vs. other skin care choices. Coffee berry is an extract from the coffee Arabica plant, and is said to have profound antioxidant properties that are “unprecedented” compared to any other products on the market. The product line includes a cleanser, night cream and day cream. The company advises consumers to use all three products together for best results.

The Revaleskin line is only available through aesthetic physicians at the time of this review. To get the products, your physician will give you a code that allows you to purchase products directly from the company website. Revaleskin states that the price range for the products is $40 to $100, but does not list individual pricing at the time of this review. We were also unable to find a money back guarantee or customer testimonials listed for Revaleskin at the time of review. We did find customer reviews on other websites, but not on the Revaleskin site.

Product Details

Coffee berry may have strong antioxidant properties, but we were unable to find evidence to support the claim that it is an effective anti-aging substance. While antioxidants are always desirable in skin care, there has never been sufficient data to state that these ingredients will reduce the current signs of aging. They can protect the skin from further free radical damage that may slow the effects of aging, but they won’t do much for the lines and wrinkles that have already appeared.

While we were unable to find a complete ingredient list on the company website, we did find them on other websites featuring the Revaleskin products. We were encouraged to see sodium hyaluronate listed in both the day cream and the night cream. This ingredient is one of the most effective skin hydrators there is, with the ability to smooth the skin sufficiently to reduce the appearance of fine lines and create a more youthful complexion.

The Good

  • Two of the Revaleskin products contain the skin hydrator sodium hyaluronate.

The Bad

  • The company website does not provide much detailed information about the product ingredients.
  • There does not appear to be a money back guarantee or customer testimonials on the site.
  • Antioxidants have not been proven to be effective in reducing existing lines and wrinkles to a significant degree.

The Bottom Line

The Revaleskin line makes some interesting assertions about the benefits of antioxidants in general, and coffee berry specifically in regards to its products. However, we believe there are other ingredients that are more effective in turning back the clock on your skin, such as matrixyl, argireline and collagen. While we are happy to see sodium hyaluronate in the formula, this ingredient is much more effective when combined with any of the substances listed above. There are many good products on the market that will do just that for greater results.
