Although it does seem that the Pur Minerals line of cosmetics are more skin-friendly formulated than some of the other major, synthetic brands available at your local drugstore and department stores.

The Pur Minerals Skin Perfecting Serum is one of the leading anti-aging products of the Pur Minerals skin care line; it is formulated to help reduce wrinkles and lines that are some of the signs of aging. You can order this product direct from the official website for $32. However, there does not seem to be any type of money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the products of the Pur Minerals skin care system. There is full list of ingredients for each of these products. The major active ingredient is patented complex, Demox that is formulated by using Glucosamine, Bamboo Silica and Sweet Pea Extract to stimulate the natural production of collagen. Unfortunately, despite the name brands healthy skin image, the Pur Minerals Skin Perfecting Serum does contain parabens, which are carcinogenic, that according to cancer experts can contribute to various types of cancers. Many manufacturers have discontinued their use of parabens in skin care and anti-aging products, since they feel they are unsafe for daily use. Clinical studies show that peptide combinations such as the anti-aging ingredient of Matrixyl 3000 is a more powerful component in stimulating collagen and the signs of aging such as fine lines and wrinkles, while being much safer to use.

We found no evidence proving that the Pur Minerals anti-aging products are better or more effective than any other type of anti-aging products in the marketplace today, as many of them do include many of the same ingredients. However, we find it very difficult to recommend these products since they do include parabens, which are carcinogenic that have been proven to cause cancers.
