Pretika is a company based in Mira Loma, California that focuses solely on selling skin care products. The company states that it “researches the skin care trends from Dermatologists, spas, and the medical profession, bringing them to retail”. Pretika’s company mission: “To let consumers discover the experience of leading Spas, Estheticians, Dermatologist, and Skin Care Institutes at home through innovative beauty, skin care, spa, and personal care products”. Pretika offers anti-aging products, hand and foot treatments, Spa Body Comforts, Teen Facial Regimens, Eye Care Regimens, and more.

Product Details

Pretika’s line of anti-aging treatments include five distinct products: Microdermabrasion Facial Regimen, SonicDermabrasion Facial Care System, LightSonic Pulsating Light Skin Care System, Spa Facial Mask Skin Care Regimen, and Spa Anti-Wrinkle Therapy. The Microdermabrasion Facial Regimen contains a facial resurfacing tool as well as an Exfoliating Crème and a Purifying Crème. The SonicDermabrasion System is a “three step skin rejuvenation” kit that includes a facial brush, a microdermabrasion scrub, and a hydrating firming complex cream. The LightSonic Pulsating Light Skin Care System claims to “assist in the natural rejuvenation process of your skin”. It emits pulsating lights that are claimed to improve collagen production and diminish fine lines. These three systems are currently the only available products in Pretika’s anti-aging skin care line, as the Spa Facial Mask Skin Care Regimen and the Spa Anti-Wrinkle Therapy are no longer available for consumers to purchase online.

The Good

  • The Microdermabrasion kit is fairly inexpensive in comparison to other similar products on the market.
  • Pretika’s website states that its products can be used on all skin types.

The Bad

  • Not all of the product ingredients are provided on Pretika’s website.
  • Two of the five anti-aging treatments on Pretika’s website are no longer in stock and will no longer be sold through the manufacturer’s website.
  • Customer testimonials and before & after photos are not provided on Pretika’s website to demonstrate product effectiveness.

The Bottom Line

Although some Pretika products contain good ingredients such as Chamomile and Vitamins A, C, & E, we are unable to determine whether or not Pretika products are effective as anti-aging or anti-wrinkle treatments. The website does not provide customer testimonials or before & after photos for consumers to review, which would be helpful in determining whether or not Pretika products work. Pretika products do not contain the most powerful and proven ingredients on the market for anti-aging such as Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen, and without further information or customer reviews, only those who have actually tried the products would be able to confirm whether or not they are really effective. It would be better if Pretika would offer a money back guarantee to consumers, but their website states that consumers can only return a product if it is defective.
