Since we started looking for an effective and affordable wrinkle fighter, we’ve seen some pretty interesting approaches to smoothing fine lines. Many creams, such as the iQ Derma line, specialize in ingredient delivery, while Nia 24’s products all claim to work for 24 hours after application. But how do you know if you should pick Youthology, Fraxel or Lifestyle Lift? Unfortunately, the only way to get the details on a cream like Eb5 or Facemaster is to do some research. But the good news is that there are sites like ours that look at everything from Prevage to Remergent and write up our findings in an easy-to-compare format.
So is it better to go for a big name brand like Definity Olay, or a boutique treatment like Retin-A or Dr. Denese? And is it better to protect skin with a product like Renova, or to go for a spot lightener like Tri-Luma? And what about Youthful Essence? These are all considerations you should take before committing to a treatment like Dermitage or Creme Ancienne. One ingredient found in several products that recently caught our attention is the advanced peptide Matryxil 3000, which has shown great promise when it comes to upping the body’s natural collagen production. As the name implies, Bioskincare promises users the latest in skin care technology, while Avalon Organics promote themselves as a “green”, natural alternative to synthetic skin products. Skinn Dimitri James is another popular European face care product.
Some lines, like ReVive, have been created by respected dermatologists, while others such as Thermage take a less conventional approach to wrinkle fighting by using heat treatments to smooth the skin. Others, like Bio-Oil, have spent a big piece of their budget on television advertising, which is why you may be looking for more info on it. Another promising new ingredient we’ve found is Argireline, which has shown some promise at lightly paralyzing facial muscles after only topical application. But one of the more unusual ingredients we’re still not sure about would have to be emu oil, which is the main active ingredient in the Dremu Oil line of products. Meanwhile, Crystalift uses small crystals to fill in wrinkles and reflect light, leading to a smoother complexion. So where you end up picking Reclaim, Amatokin or Sisley, do your research to make sure you get the product that’s really right for you.

I used the cream heavily when I was on accutane. I am 48 and still having breakouts like a teenager. I have tried antibiotics, retin-a cream all with limited success. Accutane cleared me but I could not handle the (horrible dryness) and no cream or lotion helped. I could put it on but you could see it mixed in with flaky skin and many of them irritated my skin. Exfoliating rarely helped because skin prone to acne is much more sensitive than normal skin and cant handle lots of exfoliating and different creams. I stayed on the accutane to clear the acne but still suffered. I had the bucks to try anything and I did. I stumbled on their website and decided to try it. It is the best skin cream I ever used and my skin never looked better. It is fabulous. No I am not a seller or being paid to say anything. I had super clear skin from the accutane and soft, healed, moist, dewy, velvety skin with the bioskincream. I was thrilled. After battling acne all my life and even being on accutane several times for the first time in my life I felt normal. This stuff is fabulous. A little perfumey but light enough for me to handle, pricey but it lasts. And it is well worth it to me. I slather it on at night because during the day I wear a heavy sunblock. Have been since I was 27. Have no wrinkles. I am 48 and all I wear is powder on my face. My boyfriend says I have gorgeous skin. He is 55 and around college girls all day!
