NuVANTE is a health and wellness company that was founded by Ruthie Harper MD. The company manufactures skin care products as well as specific anti-aging products. One of their main anti-aging products is the NuVANTE NuC anti-aging treatment, which was developed in 2006. The major active ingredient in this anti-aging treatment is Vitamin C. We are told that this anti-aging product was created after Ruthie Harper became interested in and studied the health benefits of Vitamin C.

The company NuVANTE tells us that NuC was formulated as a solution to signs of aging such as hyper pigmentation, lines and wrinkles. We are told by NuVANTE that regular use of their primary anti-aging product NuC will lead to a reduction in hyper pigmentation as well as fewer lines and wrinkles. We are further told that this product contains no toxic chemicals. Unfortunately we do not see anything extraordinary in this anti-aging product by NuVANTE. The publicity material for NuC by NuVANTE would lead us to believe that the founder of the company discovered something otherwise unknown. In fact the benefits of Vitamin C have been known for more than a century.
This anti-aging product by NuVANTE is just one of hundreds of anti-aging products that contain Vitamin C as a major active ingredient. We know that Vitamin C has significant antioxidant properties and that it can also neutralize free radicals. It is also believed to play a role in the synthesis of collagen. Of course collagen is imperative for keeping the skin looking young and healthy. However experts now believe that peptides have a more important role to play in the synthesis of collagen and there are now powerful peptide combinations available such as Matrixyl 3000. In clinical tests Matrixyl 3000 has been shown to have a positive effect when it comes to reducing the signs of aging.
