Like many skin care products in today’s growing market, NutrMinC is a European import. NutrMinC is manufactured by Arbonne, a Swiss manufacturer of skin care products. Arbonne has been operating in the US since 1980, and was originally founded by the specialist Peter Morck back in 1975. As a beauty and skin care product manufacturer, Arbonne claims to make use of a “network of independent consultants” when formulating and marketing all of its products, including NutrMinC. Much like Avon’s famous Avon Ladies, NutrMinC and other Arbonne products are pedaled by these “consultants”, who sign up to receive the product and then market it however they see fit.
NutrMinC is Arbonne’s anti-aging offering. We’ve found that most anti-aging products fall into one of two categories; repair, or protection. NutrMinC appears to be primarily the later, using patent-pending peptides to attempt to block out harmful UV rays. UV rays have been shown to significantly age skin, and NutrMinC offers products formulated specifically for both the face and for the body.
Product Details
NutrMinC is known for its lab work. The product touts nine patented elements that, it claims, will set it apart from the general skin care pack. Most praised by the manufacturer is NutrMinC’s Bio-Hydria complex, which actually consists of seven separate plant nutrients in a proprietary blend. NutrMinC also contains patent-pending “nanospheres” that protect the skin with powerful antioxidant elements. As the name implies, NutrMinC also includes a high concentration of topical Vitamin C, which is also known for its protective powers. All ingredients are claimed to be “botanical.”
One of NutrMinC’s most popular products is the comprehensive RE 9 anti-aging skin care line, which is sold in a “kit” by many consultants. These kits include: Resist Essential Fatty Acid Dietary Supplement, Reversing Gelee, Release Deep Pore Cleansing Masque, Reveal Facial Scrub, Regain Illuminating Enzyme Peel and the Retaliate Wrinkle Filler. Whew! Fortunately, these kits also come with a Weekly Usage Chart. On average, this set retails for around $150.00, though we’ve seen it offered for both more or less depending on the consultant.
The Good
- NutriMinC products are available for order from the official Arbonne website.
- The NutriMinC website also allows you to find a “consultant” close to you.
- Official website offers copious info on the many patent-pending ingredients found in these products.
The Bad
- Full ingredient lists are not provided for all products; only the patent-pending active ingredients are mentioned.
- We find the company’s “consultant” marketing policy to be a bit strange.
- Some reviews indicate that this product is not suitable for users who already suffer from oily skin, and that creams are very thick.
- Products average $45 each, which can make putting together a full care regimen pretty pricey.
The Bottom Line
We like the amount of detail that Arbonne goes into regarding the active ingredients found in NutriMinC products. However, we do wish that they would give a full list of all ingredients. Since, short of tracking down a consultant or placing an order, you’ll have no way of knowing everything that goes into these products. Also, the sheer number of products can be daunting. Guess that’s what the consultants are for!

The full ingredients are available to Clients, preferred clients and consultants. All you have to do is ask,and voila!! You can have it.
Also on the website you can go to ‘locate a consultant’
my understanding is Arbonne doesn’t want to sell directly to the public, so they sell via consultant, then Arbonne has a representative for them and the consultant makes money as well.
