Nicole Miller, who brought us the Nicole Miller line of skincare Products, is perhaps better known as a fashion designer than a skincare product developer. These products are available to buy in stores through the direct marketing company Melaleuca. The products are considered to be a high end luxury item by many stores and websites, and are thought of as very high in quality, with a price tag to match. Nicole Miller offers a total skin care package including toners, cleansers and many other skin care products. These products feature many high end ingredients thought to promote healthy, younger looking skin in a short amount of time including antioxidants, essential vitamins, and herbs.

These products are anything but budget friendly though, limiting them to those with money to drop on luxuries. The Nicole Miller line is currently sold in Neiman Marcus and is expected to hit other high end shops in the near future. While the price may vary from store to store, they tend to be around $50 for a single bottle. The question is, is it worth that 5 star price tag?

Product Details

The Nicole Miller line includes a variety of skin care products, such as moisturizers, toners, cleaners and other anti-aging treatments, and they are all designed to be used together for best results. Is it effective? It might be. Nicole Miller has a habit of promoting natural ingredients like milk lipids, green tea extracts and vitamins A, B, C and D. These are all known to help improve your skin. Green tea provides a lot of antioxidants which may slow aging, but studies have only found this to be the case with oral doses. This means that it does no good when used directly on the skin. This is actually the case for all the featured ingredients with the exception of vitamin E, which can help skin a good deal when used externally. The ingredients featured in the Nicole Miller line of products are genuinely good for you, just not in the way that they are used here.

The Good

  • Full of good minerals and vitamins that can improve the appearance of skin.
  • Full of natural ingredients.

The Bad

  • They are extremely expensive.
  • A lot of the featured ingredients have been proven to not actually do anything when taken externally.
  • Not enough information about the products available on the website.
  • Relies more on brand name than quality of product.

The Bottom Line

While there are many other skin care lines that make the same promises with a lower price tag, the Nicole Miller line does contain a lot of beneficial ingredients. It might do some good if you can afford it, but bear in mind that it does not have a lot of ingredients with anti wrinkle abilities. It is not counterproductive, but not particularly beneficial either and probably not worth the money.
