Nexiderm-SP is a wrinkle fighting cream developed and manufactured by the Boehm-Ritter company based out of California. Nexiderm-SP is a peptide based skin treatment, meaning that it claims to alter the composition of your skin. Nexiderm-SP makes use of one of the major ingredients available for this purpose, Matrixyl 3000. This ingredient is manufactured in a third party European lab, belying the companies “made in the USA” stamp. Matrixyl 3000 is a well-researched molecule that has been shown to promote you skin’s natural collagen production, resulting in plumper, younger looking skin. The active peptide in Matrixyl 3000 itself is referred to as micro-collagen. However, this is still a new technology and no long term effects have really been researched.
Unfortunately, a little poking around the internet reveals that the makers of Nexiderm-SP may not practice the most honest business methods, and there are several complaints posted about them to consumer watchdog bulletin boards. Most complain about a dishonest return policy or never receiving the product after paying for it.
