|New Nordic Hair Volume||
When it comes to choosing a complete beauty regime, hair care is on the top of the list. New Nordic Hair Volume is designed to strengthen hair, but not as a shampoo, conditioner or external hair treatment. The formula is delivered in supplement form – taken as one tablet each day. While some of the supplement ingredients are commonly found in everyday vitamins, there are a few added in to support hair volume and hair follicle health.
The first few ingredients in New Nordic Hair Volume are biotin, pantothenic acid, zinc and copper. Most over-the-counter multivitamins contain these ingredients, but not necessarily in the included amounts. New Nordic Hair Volume supplies 1000% of the recommended daily intake of biotin. Biotin is commonly promoted as a supplement for skin, hair and nail health. Even though 1000% seems like a lot, many supplements contain much more than that – so we are not sure there is enough Biotin in the formula to compare to similar products.
Apple extract is the star of New Nordic Hair Volume. According to the product description, the Nordic apple is rich in Proanthocyanidins – a polyphenol. Proanthocyanidins are part of the reason red wine helps promote cardiovascular health. Apples contain about eight times the level found in red wine, so the apple extract is clearly stronger than red wine, but what about skin, hair and nail health? Proanthocyanidins also work as antioxidants. When compared to antioxidants vitamin C and vitamin E found in multivitamins, Proanthocyanidins are up to 50 times stronger. Antioxidants fight free radical damage and one of the first signs of free radical damage is cellular death and premature aging.

The Bottom Line
We found several consumers claiming reduced hair loss after just two weeks of taking New Nordic Hair Volume, but most consumers reported nothing about increased hair volume. Ideally, losing fewer strands of hair would increase hair volume over time, but we do not suspect the resulting hair volume to be as dramatic as some consumers expect. This formula is inexpensive and can be added to daily supplement regimes, for most healthy consumers.
