Neutrogena Eye Perfector

Overview

In the beauty world, there are plenty of creams, lotions, sprays, serums, and powders designed to keep the skin looking young, vibrant, and healthy. There are several manufacturers who produce these products, and while some of them charge an arm and leg for them, others make their products commonly available for even the tightest of budgets. Neutrogena is a company that produces a wide variety of facial and body cleansers, scrubs, lotions, and makeup. This review will take a closer look at the Eye Perfector, to see just how much perfection it has to offer.

Product Details

Neutrogena Eye Perfector is a dual product by Neutrogena, designed to act both as a concealer, and a brightener to the eyes, reducing the appearance of dark circles that age most women. It is in a pencil like stick with a brush on the end, very similar to Bobbi Brown’s Tinted Eye Brightener. Since it is less expensive than the Bobbi Brown version, many people choose it instead, but really find themselves disappointed at the decision to save money, because they have sacrificed quality as a result. The product is supposed to be a concealer to hide blemishes, and a skin brightener so you look and feel better. The thick consistency, likely due to the SPF content, makes the concealer hard to blend into the skin, which results in a cakey appearance where the makeup just sits below the eyes.

The Good

  • The Neutrogena Eye Perfector has an SPF 25 sunscreen, which provides excellent protection from UVA and UVB rays.

The Bad

  • There are many reviews of the product, which state is only mediocre, at best.
  • Though it is a moderately priced product, some still consider it too expensive for what you get.

The Bottom Line

The bottom line when it comes to Neutrogena Eye Perfector is that if you want to shell out the dough to give it a try, go ahead, but we don’t recommend it because you’ll be out anywhere from $10 to $20 depending on the merchant you use to purchase it. Though it is available in many different shades to accommodate nearly every skin tone, many people say it is difficult to blend and does not really do what it is supposed to. This is one of those situations where you get what you pay for, so you need to be careful when you decide where to spend your money. We suggest saving a bit more money and spending it on a product with more satisfied customers. We know that Neutrogena produces many different good quality skin care products, but this just isn’t one of them.
