Naturopathica Review

The Naturopathica product is an antiaging product line available through an online website. The company was started in 1995. The base of the product is holistic skin care and the product line was created by Barbara Close to fill the need for holistic skin care product. Barbara Close is an herbalist and a massage therapist.

There is an official website for the Naturopathica product line complete with contact information, information on the products and ordering ability. Each product description offers a complete ingredient list but there are no testimonials found on the website to support the products.

Product Features

Holistic health care is the major push for the Naturopathica product line. The prices for the products are very affordable and this opens up the Naturopathica product line to more consumers. The products are available online through various third party retailers as well as through the official website and offline spas selling the Naturopathica product line. Testimonials on the products are very hard to find, but once found, the some consumers love the products and others hate them. This is not a good sign for the Naturopathica product line.

The ingredients lists are numerous, but there are some red flags that consumers need to know about when thinking about using the Naturopathica product line. There are a lot of ingredient included for the way they make the face feel and the fragrance they impart on the product. As a matter of fact, there are few if any ingredients listed with true antiaging effects on the skin. Again, this is another negative for the Naturopathica product line.

With such competition in the antiaging skin care market, the holistic skin care market needs to offer antiaging support through natural ingredients and the Naturopathica product line does not do this.

The Good

  • The products are affordable.
  • All Naturopathica products are available online.
  • The Naturopathica website offers specials and free shipping.

The Bad

  • There are no ingredients that will reduce the signs of aging.
  • Some ingredients in the Naturopathica product line will irritate the skin.
  • Moisturization is the only real benefit of using the Naturopathica product line.

The Bottom Line

There are many antiaging products with effective ingredients, but the Naturopathica product line is not one of those product lines. There are many ingredients that can be called holistic, but that does not mean the products will be more effective than other products at reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Unfortunately, the Naturopathica product line cannot be given our support simply due to ineffective design. The website is pristine and the online ordering easy, but the products, though priced well, will do little more than offer moisturization to the user and moisturization is only one aspect of healthier, younger looking skin.

  1. I went to the spa at Williamsburg VA. and was given a sample after the treatment. For some reason I tried it when I came home and it worked so well on my skin. pricey but worth it as i always break out from all the hype items

  2. I had a facial at the Turtle Bay Resort Spa in Hawaii. The Spa used these products on my skin. She chose them because I have Roscea and I was having a flare. I loved the feel on my face and they smelled wonderful. I went home with the oatmeal cleanser and the Gotu Kola Healing Balm. I am still using them after 2 months. No breakouts and that is the only thing I have done differently.

  3. I just want to say I’ve been using the Naturopathica products for several years and love them. Most companies that offer reviews or feedback on their website are internally generated and quite honestly, not very reliable. Any line will have positive and negative reviews, that’s why there are so many product lines on the market. Also, I’m not sure what product you’re talking about that is used for antiaging that isn’t a prescription?
