Lierac Review

Lierac is a skin care company that has been in business for almost 30 years. Lierac’s motto is “Merging advanced scientific research with botanical expertise” and their mission is to combine botanical ingredients with scientific application methods.

Lierac the skin treatment was created by Dr. Cariel, who is a doctor in France. Dr. Cariel specializes in aesthetic disorders and has formulated a line of beauty products created from mostly plant-based materials. Each beauty product is specially designed for specific skin problems. Some of the skin problems Lierac products address are hyper-pigmentation, stretch marks, cellulite, age spots, and wrinkles.

The official Lierac website has three different areas and these are Face, Body, and Basics. Under the Face category you can choose from products geared toward anti-aging, hydration, cleansing, facial masks, and eyes. We are most interested in Lierac’s wrinkle fighters so let’s take a closer look at some of those. A few of the wrinkle fighting products that stick out are the Lierac Exclusive Ultra Jour, the Lipofilling, and the Relance Ultra wrinkle smoothing cream. These are all high-end wrinkle fighting products that are discussed on the official website.

Product Details

Upon closer inspection of the three products listed above, we can see that Lierac products are made up of mostly all natural ingredients combined with skin hydrators such as hyaluronic acid. Each of these three products contains ingredients such as plant extracts and oils, vitamins, and anti-oxidants.

Unfortunately, the exact ingredients lists are not posted on the official Lierac website. Instead, there is a very short list of ingredients in a small box located to the right of the product. This seems to list only two to six of the most active ingredients found in that product. Some products such as Mesolift simply say “Mesolift Cocktail 15%” which is very uninformative.

The Good

  • Lierac products contain all natural ingredients.
  • The official Lierac website is available in many languages.
  • You can easily purchase Lierac products at popular chain stores such as CVS/Pharmacy.

The Bad

  • The official Lierac website doesn’t allow you to buy products directly from the site.
  • The full ingredient list isn’t given for most products, including the anti-aging line.
  • There is no money-back guarantee or free trials available.
  • No testimonials or clinical studies are posted on the official website.

The Bottom Line

Lierac offers many different products that are marketed for women with very specific skin issues such as stretch marks. We like the fact that Lierac has so many different products available but wish they would have included a more detailed list of ingredients for all products so that people with certain allergies could know what was actually inside each product. The prices of Lierac products are middle of the road and they are easily obtained at your local drug stores. Unfortunately, the lack of information about the various products really puts us off. We recommend finding something that lists all of their ingredients in great detail and includes some well-known wrinkle fighters.

  1. Do you have any skincare brands that you can recommend for people here in the UK – the brands you list as being good seem only to be available in the USA – I look forward to hearing from you.

  2. I always use the Lierac Diopticrème Wrinkle Repair Cream 10ml, and it is really effective. It leaves my skin super soft and curated, expression wrinkles are fading away and I am very happy with the results. I bought it at PharmacyClub and it is really cheap. It just take 2 days for the parcel to arrive into the States! Am very happy with them!
