According to the company, injections of cells from sheep fetuses strengthen the immune system and regenerate the body’s own cells. Lexmo also produces their own line of skin care products including the Placenta Crystal Spa Soap.
The Lexmo products do not appear to be available for sale on the company’s website and it is not clear where one can purchase them. Lexmo Placenta Crystal Spa Soap contains plant placenta extract which, according to the website, has a beneficial effect on the skin. It also claims to aid in the removal of acne scars. The full list of ingredients is as follows: soap base, glycerine, sucrose, water, sodium lauroyl glutamat, plant placenta extract, tetrasodium etidronate, methylparaben, and propylparaben.
Lexmo provides no details on its website about the benefits of plant placenta extract. We have to believe that if this ingredient erased acne scars, it would be used much more widely in the skin care and pharmaceutical industries. The other listed ingredients are common in most department store soaps. The inclusion of methylparaben and propylparaben concerns us. Parabens are cosmetic preservatives that are also known allergens. Many higher-quality skin care products exclude them because of this. Those who have skin allergies or sensitivities should exercise caution before you know how this product will react with your particular skin type. Lexmo Placenta Crystal Spa Soap doesn’t specifically claim to reduce wrinkles but it does claim to leave you with refreshed and smooth skin. We believe that this soap will be no different from the hundreds of other department store soaps on the market today.

There are hundreds of facial soaps and cleansers on the market today. Those consumers who have mature skin have particular needs that they’d like to see met by the products they use. Skin care products for aging skin should have proven hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid. They should also contain ingredients that reduce or eliminate wrinkles, such as Argiriline, which calms facial muscles and smoothes the skin on top of those muscles. Although we like the fact that Lexmo provides a full ingredient list, we are not particularly impressed with any of those ingredients. Any off-the-shelf soap should be able to do the same job.
