Kinerase Review

Kinerase is marketed as a very gentle skin care system that claims to have been scientifically shown to reduce the effects of age damage from the sun, “liver spot” blotches, and roughness. Kinerase bases many of its products on a substance called kinetin, which is an herbal extract. This extract is what keeps plant leaves moist under all types of conditions. Kinerase claims that when kinetin is applied to the skin, the skin will also retain moisture in a similar fashion.

Kinerase offers a very wide range of products that cover everything from your standard moisturizers to instant face lifts in a bottle. Many of the Kinerase products are hypoallergenic and contain many all-natural ingredients. The Kinerase official website offers two separate collections. One is the Kinerase Core Collection, which uses kinetin and the Kinerase, Pro+Therapy which uses a different extract called Zeatin. Kinerase Cream is part of the Core Collection and is one of the most popular products available from this company. It is sold in dermatologist offices all over the world.

Product Details

Kinerase Cream claims to improve the tone of your skin and to help reduce the appearance of sun damage and aging. Kinerase Cream stresses that it improves your skin’s natural ability to retain moisture and that it helps to prevent water loss on a cellular level. This cream does contain soluble collagen and hydrolyzed elastin, which may both help your skin become more firm, but studies are inconclusive as to how well these actually work when absorbed through the skin.

Kinerase Cream ingredients: N6 Furfuryladenine (Kinetin) (0.1%) ,Water, Glyceryl Stearate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed OiI, Glycine Soja Sterol (Soybean), Stearyl Alcohol, Laureth 23, Dimethicone, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Soluable Collagen, Kinetin, Carbomer, Panthenol, Ascorbic Acid, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Triethanolamine, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

The Good

  • Kinerase Cream contains numerous plant extracts.
  • This product is very gentle and claims to be hypo-allergenic.
  • Contains collagen and elastin.

The Bad

  • Expensive. 2.8 ounces of the Kinerase Cream is over $115.00.
  • No money back guarantee is offered on the official website.
  • No free trial is available on the official website.
  • No ingredients are listed on the official website.
  • Though it claims to be hypo-allergenic, this product contains synthetic paraben preservatives, which have been shown to irritate sensitive skin.

The Bottom Line

Kinerase Cream is very expensive and, in our opinion, it doesn’t have enough information to warrant such a high price tag. There is no free trial and no money-back guarantee, which is pretty disappointing. Kinerase Cream does use mostly holistic ingredients and has a very mild formula that may appeal to some people. We would have liked to see some testimonials and clinical trial data posted on the official website as well as a company history. There just aren’t enough of the top, proven wrinkle fighters in this product when compared to other, more cutting edge creams on the market.

  1. I have sensitive skin, and tendency to Rosacea. I used these products about 8 years ago and loved them, but am wondering if they might be too irritating now for my skin. Also, am living in Palm Springs, so desert air can take its toll as well. Thanks!

  2. Have been using the Kenerase under eye serum for a year now, and have not seen any improvement. Still have the same dark circles. Just thought you should know it doesn;t work for everyone.

  3. I have been using the extreme lift face and ultimate night moisturizer for over 3 years. Love the results! I am 68 – and this product is my secret to looking a LOT younger. Wish I could post a picture to prove it!

  4. I recently bought the Kinerase Cleanser and the Cream and was so excited after hearing all of the great feedback about the line. I have to say, I was truly dissappointed. After giving it 5 days, my skin was red, irritated and felt like I had a bad “windburn”. Thankfully I was able to return it from where I bought it….and I have returned to my old standby…Epicuren! Love it !

  5. I LOVE Kinerase. I have very sesitive, dry skin and I was sent a SAMPLE with my order of a different product. I had never heard of Kinerase before but I tried the sample and I fell in love. I have been using it for 1 1/2 yrs and it worked a virtual miracle on my skin. Everyone tells me that I am “glowing.” I no longer have dry skin issues on my face and I look 10 yrs. younger than I am. My only complaint is the price. I now buy it on ebay.

  6. My question is, I would like to try it and I’ve read about samples. Where can I go to get a sample or is it even sold in the stores? I would like to try it before I invest the money. I’ve been down that road before and haven’t seemed to have much luck. Maybe this product will be different. Thank you.

  7. I would like to try the product before I invest much money. Can you tell me where the product is sold or if thats even possible? Thank you.

  8. Do NOT waste your money on Kinerase. There are other products on the market that cost a lot less and produce noticeable results. Kinerase is marketing their product to consumers who believe that to get excellent results, you have to pay a lot of money. Don’t be taken in by this company and its product line.

  9. Kinerase is absolutely the best product I have ever found! I have extremely sensitive skin and have suffered in the past trying to find the right product. Well I have found everything I need for my skin in Kinerase. My skin is completely balanced, neither dry or oily, smooth with very few wrinkles for my age. I am 66 and my skin is better today than when I was 40. I use the Ultimate Day Cream in the morning after cleansing under my makeup and the Ultimate Night Cream before going to bed. I also use the under eye rescue morning and evening. It has been over 12 years since I started using Kinerase when it was introduced to me by a dermatologist. It is worth every penny.

    1. I agree! Ive been on Kinerease since 1997 when it came out… Now containing “Ha” it’s even better if that’s possible. My family has been baffled that my skin looks nothing like theirs till I now buy it for their b-days and holidays. Yes, it is disgracefully expensive but wrinkles, freckles and liver spots vanish in weeks…. has it for 20% off with their coupons…. $90 beats $115-120 anyday!

  10. I just started using the Lift & resulpt anti wrinkle night cream, I like the way it makes my skin feel I can feel it tighten up my skin and when I wake up in the morning the skin under my eyes is not at all like it use to look much better so I recommend this product, it was only $17 a jar at Walgreens and I got $5 off that price go Walgreens

  11. Was trying to get rid of dark spots on my cheeks but got acne from using Kinerase which make the condition of the dark spots even worst.

  12. The Ultimate Night moisturizer (I think that’s what it’s called- it’s for night anyway but I use it daytime too) is the best!! I haven’t liked the B6 or even the day cream as much. The night has almond oil and a peptide and many other great ingreds along with a high Kinetin level. This cream makes my skin smooth and rosy and I come back to it even though it’s very expensive. Just cut out all the rest (except a retinol at night and sunscreen during day) and you can save $$ that way! I recommend it.
