Kara Vita Review

The Kara Vita product line is one that may provide some competition for other antiaging companies. The company specializes in Antiaging Treatments, Body Care, Fragrance, Acne Care and Sun Skin Care. The Antiaging product line is concise with not too many products and there are ingredient listings for each formula showing promising ingredient choices.

The Kara Vita product line is rather expensive with the antiaging line varying in price from $16.00 for a small tube of hand cream to $90.00 for 1 ounce of firming complex. There is no place to order the product on the website because the online store link is not working.

Product Features

In order to best judge an antiaging line like that of Kara Vita, the ingredients must be listed – including the non-active ingredients. Kara Vita only provides the Key Ingredients in their solutions. This is not a good practice, especially for people with sensitive ski. The Key Ingredients in the Up Tight Firming Peptide Complex include Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argireline), Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 (Matrixyl 3000), Acetyl Tetrapeptide-9 (Dermican), Argania Spinosa Kernel Extract and Rumex Occidentalis Extract. We like the inclusion of Matrixyl 3000 and Argireline, but without any knowledge of the fillers, alcohols or oils used in the complex it is hard to judge skin reaction. The product is not listed as hypo-allergenic which is true of all the Kara Vita antiaging products.

Another negative to a product that seems to include good ingredients is the lack of clinical data referenced on the website. There have been clinical trials for some of the included ingredients, why are these not included on the website. This could mean there is not enough of the beneficial ingredients to affect the antiaging benefits.

The Good

  • A few of the ingredients listed are proven to improve the look of the skin.
  • Contact information is provided on the website.
  • There is an official website for the Kara Vita product lines.

The Bad

  • The product will not be available until May 1st.
  • All of the ingredients are not listed on the website.
  • The price for the products is higher than comparable products.
  • The online store link is not working.

The Bottom Line

The Kara Vita antiaging products include some beneficial ingredients, but the ingredient list does not divulge all of the ingredients which could mean some users may be prone to reactions from other ingredients not listed. This is a huge oversight by the Kara Vita company. The online store link is not working and the most beneficial products are not available until May. We cannot support an antiaging product, no matter how good the ingredients, unless they provide information and support to the consumer.

  1. I have bought and used Kara Vita products for over two years now & never had a problem with their website or products. I do think they are slightly over priced compared to other similar products. I particularly like their sunscreen, no harsh chemicals and smells great! Simply Clear it is the best product they make, this stuff really works!

  2. It’s 2010. I have been using Kara Vita for 6 years now. The purify line is the best for acne prone skin! Sun Care products last all day except the parsol which is only waterproof after 80 mins of submerged swimming. Put the sun screen on before you start your day and never have to replay all day long! Even if you are active outside all day. The sun screen is not sticky, heavy or fragenced so you can wear other lotion on top of the sun screen or perfume. The products may be pricey, but the regimen lasts an avg 60 days. I had my AH HA moment with Kara Vita and welcome you to try. I know you will fall in love like I did! Using Kara Vita, you will keep them guessig on your age : )

    1. Hello Jenny, we are ecstatic that to hear Kara Vita has been your skincare choice for 6 years. We love that you love our products 🙂

  3. I’ve been using Kara-Vita for three years with very good results. I do like the product but I believe it is becoming pricey, particularly when you are on a budget. For instance, the Indulgence disappointedly went from a 2oz to a 1 oz jar, but the price stayed the same. I’m thinking I may have to discontinue this line of cosmetics if the price continues to rise. Am I paying more for the pretty jars than for the amount of product for the price?

  4. I have been using Kara Vita for 4 years now. I have been true to the penetrating lotion for most of this time. I bought a small bottle of penetrating lotion out of courtesy to my friend, and it ended up ‘curing’ a wicked little rash that I had on my shins. This is no lie. I had an itchy rash that began as a reaction to my volleyball kneepads – but wouldn’t clear up. I had the rash for nearly 3 months and had scratched my shins almost raw. I saw my Dr. and she gave me some cream which did not work. I was going back to her at the end of that summer (after my tan had faded) for a biopsy, but began using the penetrating lotion (coincidentally). A week or so later I noticed my rash was gone and it has never returned. I am generally a skeptic when it comes to product, but this sold me. I swear by anything Kara Vita.

  5. Good product, overpriced. The turn-off for me is the special pricing for club members. I’m sure this type of marketing works for some, but does nothing for me, but send me looking for a comparable product elsewhere. Sell a good product at a fair price period. The special club member pricing requires an annual membership fee of 35. I find it grating, and there is no way this can be spun. I would advise Kara Vita marketers to offer the club pricing to all, and this would engage more sales; at least from me. I may be an exception – but now I buy another medical grade product through Amazon Prime, for which membership costs are a good value.
