Ingrid Millet is a skin care company based in Paris France. The full Ingrid Millet line includes: Anti-Aging, Brightening, Cleansers, Exfoliants, Eye Products, Face, Hand & Body, Masks, Moisturizers, Serums and Toners. For the purposes of this review, we will focus on the Anti-Aging grouping of products. Almost all of the Ingrid Millet Anti-Aging products are based on caviar as their main ingredient. According to the website, caviar restores energy and vitality to the skin because it is so close in composition to many substances naturally found in the skin. We would like to see links to clinical studies to support these claims but we were unable to find any.

The most frustrating issue that we have with the Ingrid Millet products is that they do not provide a full list of ingredients. This poses two problems. The first is that those with skin allergies or sensitivities will have a difficult time trying to assess if there are any allergenic ingredients included in the Ingrid Millet products. The second issue is that it is almost impossible for the consumer to determine if the products contain any low-quality ingredients, like synthetic colors, fragrances or “fillers”. The Ingrid Millet line is extremely expensive and may well be out of the price range of many consumers. A 50 ml jar of Caviaressence Anti-Wrinkle Relaxing Cream retails on the website for $190 at the time of this review.

Product Details

The Ingrid Millet Anti-Aging line includes: Caviaressence Anti-Wrinkle Relaxing Cream, Bio Elita Structuressence Extreme Anti-Aging Serum, Perle de Caviar Bio-Marine Extract, Caviar Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream, Caviar Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream, Rich Moisture Serum, Rich Moisture Cream, Toning Moisturizing Rich Mask, Neck Toning Cream, Moisture Retaining Creamy Mask, Toning Cleansing Seamud Mask, Cristal Eye Gel, Firming Wrinkle Aroma Cream, Extreme Modeling Concentrate, Extreme Anti-Aging Eye Cream, Extreme Moisture 24-hour cream, and the Extreme Moisture Creamy Mask.

With that extensive list of varying formulations, we have to ask the question why? The best skin care products companies find the most effective formulation and have only one or a few products. This number of products may make it confusing for the consumer to figure out which one is right for them. The Ingrid Millet website in not very helpful in this regard, simply giving a brief description of each product.

Caviar was a new exciting skin care discovery back in the late 1990’s when many companies predicted that everyone would be using it in their formulations in the next few years. It didn’t happen and part of the reason why is that better and more effective ingredients were developed, like the peptides Matrixyl 3000 and Argiriline, which have been clinically proven to stimulate collagen growth and smooth out wrinkles. Although caviar sounds elegant and exotic, the clinical evidence is still slim.

The Good

  • Available for purchase on company website

The Bad

  • Extremely expensive compared to its competitors
  • May not contain clinically-proven ingredients
  • Does not provide links to clinical studies supporting the product
  • No money-back guarantee is offered

The Bottom Line

There will be a certain corner of the skin care consumer base to whom Ingrid Millet products will appeal. These products are marketed as exotic and exclusive and have an exotic price tag to go along with them. The good news is that you do not need to spend an arm and a leg for an effective anti-wrinkle product. You may wish to research proven products before settling on this one.

Hydrolyze Bottle

(Optional- For Enhanced Results): Hydrolyze

Editor's Review: 4.6 / 5.0

After looking at so many anti-aging treatments, we've seen that the delicate skin around the eyes can be a real problem area for many people. Dark circles can make you look years older, and for some people even a good night's sleep won't make them go away. That's why we were so excited to find Hydrolyze, which has been formulated by industry experts specifically as an under-eye treatment. The makers of Hydrolyze are so confident in their product that they offer potential users a Risk Free Trial so they can see the results for themselves. Hydrolyze contains the break-through ingredient Haloxyl, which has been shown to reduce under-eye discoloration between 40%-60% in a clinical case study. By offering consumers a way to erase the dark circles and wrinkles that often occur under the eyes, Hydrolyze is revolutionizing the skincare industry. >> Read more about Hydrolyze Go
