Glycolix Elite is a skincare cream that acts as a peeling agent. The formulation is essentially made with glycolic acid. The manufacturer claims that the side effects of the acid are avoided by using this particular formulation. Glycolix elite is manufactured by Topix pharmaceuticals. Other related Glycolix products include the Facial Toner, which is said to cleanse oils from the skin and remove the dead skin. The end result is a vibrant and clean skin. The Glycolix Moisturizer Cleanser is said to gently smooth the skin and provide antioxidants, which help fight off the natural toxins in the environment.
The Glycolix formulations are said to contain anti-aging ingredients which can help you rid of fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck.

The Bottom Line
Glycolix Elite is a skincare product line made by Topix pharmaceuticals. Topix has been in the business of skincare for at least 2 decades. Topix claims that they use liposomes to help carry the vitamins and ingredients across the skin into the deeper layers. First the positives- the products are relatively cheap, easily available online and there are also a number of pre and post photos. The manufacturer does provide a lot of detail about glycolic acid. Now the negatives. There is no doubt that the Glycolix Elite formulations work well as peeling agents. In fact, glycolic acid peels are nothing new. However, at the concentration used in the present formulations, glycolic acid does very little to the skin. For glycolic acid to work well as an effective skin peeling agent, the concentration must be above 15%. One has to be ware that when high concentrations of any peeling agent are used, the chances of developing skin redness, dryness and irritation are also high. In most cases, higher concentrations of peeling agents are best used under the supervision of the therapist at a spa. Further, there is nothing spectacular about vitamin A, C or CoQ10. There is a lot of hype about CoQ10 and so far there is little evidence that it does anything. Green tea extracts are widely being used in all types of skincare products. While these extracts do have some antioxidant activity, there is no evidence that green tea extracts can erase wrinkles. For the individual who is interested in a gentle peel, Glycolix Elite is not a bad product. However, if you want to reverse the signs of aging with this product, you are likely going to be a bit disappointed.
