the Eve Lom skin care line was developed based on the theory that “less is more” when it comes to skin care. The line begins with deep cleansers and expands to include masks, creams, serums and moisturizers. Some of the products can be purchased in sets for a better value. There do appear to be many products in this single line, which can make it confusing for consumers to choose the best formulas. We often prefer that companies produce a single, quality product with a very specific purpose to make the shopping experience a bit easier and to produce better results. However, we will examine the Eve Lom TLC Cream further to see if it can deliver as an anti-aging moisturizer.
We were disappointed to find that the Eve Lom line does not offer a return policy on opened products. We were also disappointed that the company website does not appear to list customer testimonials to back the claims of the products. We believe that this type of information shows confidence on the part of the company in their products, and that it allows customers to shop with much more confidence. However, we were pleased to see that the Eve Lom TLC Cream does provide a complete ingredient list and usage instructions that consumers can peruse before purchasing.

The ingredients listed for the Eve Lom TLC Cream include: aqua (water), paraffinum liquidum (mineral oil), cera alba (beeswax), cera microcristallina (microcrystalline wax), sorbitan sesquioleate, decyl oleate, isostearyl neopentanoate, sodium acrylates copolymer, ppg-1 trideceth 6, glycerin, calendula officinalis (calendula oil), arnica montana (arnica oil), brassica oleifera, magnesium sulfate, aluminum stearate, isopropyl myristate, disodium edta, methyl glucose sesquistearate , euphrasia officinalis, (eyebright extract), rosa damascena (rose oil), bht, alcohol denat., phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, butylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, isobutylparaben.
There are two things that concern us about this ingredient list. The first is that there are no proven anti-aging ingredients listed for this formula. These substances might include argireline, soluble collagen, matrixyl, or hyaluronic acid. Without effective ingredients like these, we have serious doubts about whether the Eve Lom TLC Cream would do much to reduce the effects of aging on the skin. Our other concern is in the many parabens that are listed at the bottom of this ingredient list. Parabens are suspected carcinogens, and it has been recommended that consumers do not use products that contain these substances.
