Eucerin is a “dermatologist-preferred skin care” brand that addresses concerns like dryness and sensitivity. Although the official website doesn’t offer Eucerin products for sale, they can all be acquired in common drugstores across the U.S. There are three general categories for Eucerin, which are Face Care (cleansers, lotions, creams, concealer and anti-aging treatments), Hand & Body Care (moisturizing lotions and creams), as well as Baby Care (gentle wash, healing ointment and body lotion). There are testimonials offered on the official website and Eucerin products have been mentioned in national magazines like Lucky, Marie Claire, Women’s Health and Real Simple.

The main goals of Eucerin skin care treatments are to moisturize, relieve redness, heal, block the sun’s harmful rays, combat Rosacea, restore radiance and minimize fine lines/wrinkles. Eucerin products are stated to be fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, oil-free and non-irritating. The primary active ingredient offered in the Eucerin anti-wrinkle treatments is Coenzyme Q10. In regards to redness afflictions and skin blotchiness, the main component is Licochalcone (licorice root extract). Although there are not any free trial samples of Eucerin products available through the official website, there are numerous coupons offered for buyers. These skin care products are suitable for men as well, even though only women are addressed on the website.

Product Details

Eucerin is a line of skin care treatments that specifically aim to aid users afflicted with dry, irritated, red or blotchy skin. These products are suitable for adults and babies alike, and incorporate key ingredients like Coenzyme Q10 and Licochalcone (licorice root extract). Eucerin products are not tested on animals and are claimed to be suitable for the most sensitive skin, even including those who suffer from Eczema, Dermatitis and Rosacea. This brand offers complete regimens that are to be used daily on the face and body. Although no clinical data is offered on the website, Eucerin does claim to perform clinical trials on all of their products.

The Good

  • Eucerin skin care products are fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, oil-free and non-irritating.
  • There are customer testimonials found on the website.
  • Coupons for Eucerin treatments are offered via the official website.
  • Some Eucerin products contain sunscreen and moisturizers.

The Bad

  • Clinical findings are not actually presented on the website.
  • Some ingredients found in Eucerin treatments may not be suitable for some individuals.
  • There is no satisfaction guarantee posted on the website.
  • None of the Eucerin skin care line can actually be purchased conveniently through the website.
  • The prices for Eucerin treatments are not revealed on the official website.

The Bottom Line

On the bright side, Eucerin addresses a less common side of skin care, which concerns sensitivity, dryness and redness issues. Also, these skin care products can be easily acquired in common drugstores, which makes finding them rather simple. On the other hand, it doesn’t appear that Eucerin products come with a money-back guarantee, nor is there clinical research provided on the official website supporting the wrinkle fighting capabilities of these treatments. In general, Eucerin appears to us to be more of a general skin care line than a wrinkle fighting product.

I became allergic to the preservative in Eucerin and now have an allergy to most beauty care products sold in the US. The preservatives is methylchlorizothiazolinone. I could tell I was allergic because my eye lids puffed up and become chapped. I just kept on putting more Eucerin on them, never realizing Eucerin was the problem. When I stopped using it and used more natural products like olive oil and grape seed oil the problem went away.
