Elastin 3 Review

Overview

Created by Robelyn Laboratory, Elastin 3 promotes reducing the look of stretch marks on the skin. Robelyn exclusively produces skin care products and even provides a line of products for male skin care. There is an official website for the Elastin 3 product through Robelyn Labs. On the website the visitor is able to research the Elastin 3 product, contact the Robelyn Labs company and order the products sold by Robelyn Labs including Elastin 3.

Product Features

The ingredients in Elastin 3 include elastin, collagen, soy and argireline. This combination is supposed to make the most effective stretch mark treatment available today, but those claims need to have a bit of clinical support and there is no support on the official website. There are, however, before and after photos and testimonials. The before and after photos leave much to be desired. Any woman who has been pregnant knows stretch marks fade over time. The photos posted on the website are not a great indication that the prodcut works. As a matter of fact, some of the photos look to be blurry in the after photo to reduce the look of the stretch marks.

When a product claims to be the best in any one part of the antiaging or beauty market, the title often comes with a huge price tag. One 6 ounce tube of Elastin 3 sells for $69.95 which is a huge price tag for a product with no proof it works. Luckily, the Elastin 3 purchase comes with a 60 day money back guarantee less the shipping and handling the customer paid for the product.

The Good

  • There is a 60 day money back guarantee.
  • There is an official website that is easy to navigate.
  • Testimonials and before and after photos are available on the website.

The Bad

  • There is no complete ingredient list posted on the website.
  • No clinical trials of the product have proven it works.
  • Some of the before and after photos are sketchy at best.
  • Some of the ingredients may cause allergic reactions.

The Bottom Line

Stretch marks can be an unsightly after effect of pregnancy, bodybuilding and weight loss. The Elastin 3 skin care product aims to reduce the appearance of these stretch marks and according to the photos, with prolonged use, this may happen. However, stretch marks will fade over time to a mere memory and the continued use of this produce could prove very costly.

At this time we are not able to support the Elastin 3 product for several reasons. If Elastin 3 was tested in a clinical setting and proven to be the best, the $69.95 price tag may be worth the effect, but this is not the case.

Top Choice for 2009:  Dermapril-SP

Dermapril-SP was our favorite product to introduce, with a patented formula and visible results after only two weeks of use. Matrixyl 3000™, the patented active ingredient in Dermapril-SP, is backed by a clinical study showing a reduction in appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by 44%.

Dermapril-SP is based on research into the mechanisms that enable younger skin to appear firmer, tighter and more supple than older people's skin. The treatment helps the skin regain a more youthful appearance by accelerating the natural production of three building blocks: Collagen, Fibronectin and Hyaluronic Acid. The result is a rapid rejuvenation and a dramatically reduced appearance of wrinkles and other signs of age caused by sun exposure, smoking, stress, hormonal changes and other common factors.

Frequent reported benefits include immediate tightening and firming; smoother, softer skin; diminished appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; and rejuvinated, glowing skin. Dermapril-SP is the only product on the market that combines patented Matrixyl 3000™ and green-tea extracts in a hydrating cream. Based on the high cost and quality of the ingredients, Dermapril-SP is reasonably priced. Customer satisfaction is high and Dermapril-SP offers a free trial, so that customers can fully evaluate the product prior to purchasing it.
