DermaExcel 7 is a “botox alternative” that was developed by Janson Beckett Cosmeceuticals. DermaExcel 7 claims to be the “most aggressive spot wrinkle treatment” on the market that firms, protects, and repairs your skin. Janson Beckett is most widely known for its product AlphaDerma CE, which is fairly popular in the anti-aging product category. Janson Beckett has been around for over 30 years and offers a wide range of beauty products available on their official website.

DermaExcel 7 is a combination of three peptides that may work together to help eliminate fine lines and wrinkles. These three peptides are Argireline, Leuphasyl, and HeptaPeptide, also known as Snap-7. Each one of these ingredients is fairly common in anti-wrinkle serums but they are not usually found together in one product.

Product Details

DermaExcel 7 is a peptide based anti-aging serum that was developed primarily for people suffering from deep wrinkles and fine lines. This product actually seems to be a product made to compliment AlphaDerma CE. The official website says many times that you should use DermaExcel 7 after you use AlphaDerma CE for the best results possible. The peptides in DermaExcel 7 have a pretty good track record. Argireline is a very popular facial muscle relaxer, Leuphasyl is very similar to Argireline and may work well with it, and Snap-7 is yet another muscle relaxer. This seems like a potent combination that might work very well in the area of wrinkle reduction.

The official DermaExcel website is loaded with information on each active ingredient complete with charts and graphs. The full ingredients list is available which is very nice, and there are plenty of testimonials posted. All of the products on the site come with a 60-day money back guarantee.

The Good

  • DermaExcel 7 contains Argireline, a proven wrinkle fighter, and two similar ingredients.
  • The manufacturer has a 60-day money back guarantee on all of their products.

The Bad

  • We aren’t sure how well all of the active ingredients work together.
  • Very expensive. One ounce will cost you $129.99.
  • Some of the product description is a little too technical for your average consumer.

The Bottom Line

DermaExcel 7 seems like it has taken the popular ingredient Argireline and improved upon it. This is good news for the anti-aging world but this product lacks in a few key areas. This product doesn’t seem to contain a powerful hydrator, and it also contains five different parabens. Parabens aren’t recommended for long-time use because they may cause skin irritation or other problems over time. While we really like the use of the Argireline-like ingredients, we wish this product contained some skin tighteners and moisturizers as well. We recommend looking for a cheaper product that contains a moisturizer, tightener, and a relaxer for maximum effect.
