Dermaculture is a beauty products company created by Dr. Paul Meminger, a German chemist and scientist. Dr. Meminger set out over 70 years ago to create beauty products and skin treatments that would produce noticeable and dramatic results for people with various skin problems. The main treatment involved applying electrical currents directly to the skin, which helped vitamin rich solutions be absorbed more quickly.

This same process is used today by Dermaculture and goes by the name of “The Iderm Deep Skin Ionization Process.” This procedure may be a little too alternative for many people so there is also a line of beauty products available from Dermaculture. Like most beauty companies, Dermaculture offers products that are cleansers, exfoliators, moisturizers, toners, and various skin care kits. We will take a closer look at some of the products that may help in the anti-aging department to see what they are all about.

Product Details

The most noticeable anti-aging product available from Dermaculture would be its Collagen Moisturizer. This product claims to help your skin remain hydrated while helping to eliminate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The full list of ingredients isn’t disclosed but it does contain collagen, elastin, and aloe vera, according to the product description.

The other Dermaculture product that catches our eye is the Collagen Elastin Solution. This product claims to improve your skin’s elasticity and help protect it. The official website claims that this product is most effective if you follow it with the Collagen Moisturizer.

The official Dermaculture website is nice to look at but doesn’t seem to provide a lot of information that would be helpful to consumers. The product descriptions are very vague and you can’t view the full list of ingredients. There are sections with testimonials and a “special offers” section, which is nice.

The Good

  • Dermaculture products may contain collagen and elastin.
  • Testimonials are provided on the official website.

The Bad

  • Dermaculture products don’t seem to contain any powerful anti-aging ingredients.
  • The full ingredients list for each product isn’t available on the official website.
  • The most popular and potent Dermaculture treatment involves putting electrodes on your body which may discourage many people from considering anyof the line’s products.

The Bottom Line

Dermaculture offers a very different way to treat skin problems with its Iderm treatment, and it provides a handful of beauty products for sale on its official website. While we haven’t done enough research to determine how effective the Iderm process is, we do know enough about beauty products to tell you to keep looking. There just aren’t any powerful anti-aging ingredients present in the Dermaculture products to make them worth your time. They may work well for those looking for a nice moisturizer, however.
