Dermabrite claims to help you get rid of age spots, splotches, freckles, and other pigmentation problems by including all botanical ingredients in its formula. Dermabrite is a skin lightening serum created by Beauty Naturally. Beauty Naturally is a company that has been around for 30 years and their goal is to produce quality beauty products using organic and biodegradable formulas without animal ingredients or anything artificial whatsoever. Beauty Naturally products can often be found in Whole Food stores.
Dermabrite claims to be an oil-free serum that manipulates the pigment cells that occur naturally in the skin. This product does not contain hydroquinone, which is a very common ingredient in skin lightening products, and instead chooses to use an extract of licorice that may have similar properties.

Dermabrite is a skin lightening serum made from all natural ingredients. The official Dermabrite website, though not very easy on the eyes, is very informative about its product and what it is supposed to do. The site goes into great depth about how hydroquinone, a popular skin lightener, has been labeled as a hazardous substance by OSHA. This ingredient is very common in many skin lighteners that you can buy online and in retail stores. Dermabrite uses an extract of licorice called glabridin, which claims to be seven times as effective as hydroquinone and also to be all natural.
The Dermabrite website claims that without your normal amount of melanin in your skin, you are more susceptible to damage from UV radiation. To counteract this, Dermabrite has included many powerful antioxidants (but it doesn’t say which ones). The official website highly recommends combining this product with Sun Dew, another Beauty Naturally product for maximum UV protection.

We wish they would have provided the complete list of ingredients or some proven scientific data that substantiated these claims. Dermabrite is fairly cheap at under $25 so if you are looking for an alternative skin lightener, you can always give it a try. Skin lighteners really only appeal to a certain group of beauty product shoppers so if you are looking for a more complete anti-aging product, you should probably keep looking.
