The Chantecaille Future Skin product is actually a foundation that contains properties to improve the condition of your skin and light reflecting elements that are better able to conceal flaws. Unfortunately, we were unable to get information about this product from the company website, since it was down for maintenance at the time of this review. We were able to confirm that the Chantecaille Future Skin is available at numerous high end department stores, like Neiman Marcus, across the country and through various online retailers as well.

Since we could not peruse the company website, we were unable to find important information like a money back guarantee offered on the products, customer testimonials or complete ingredient lists. This is always reason for concern, since allergy concerns cannot be addressed without a complete ingredient list and there is no way to determine whether the active ingredients will do the job as promised. We also believe that the price tag, $65 for a one-ounce container at the time of this review, is fairly high for a foundation, considering how little information is available for the product online.

Product Details

The ingredients that we could find for the Chantecaille Future Skin include charged water and seaweed. The online retailers that provided these ingredients didn’t go into much detail about what charged water is, other than to say that it can transfer water into the skin without the use of oil. The foundation also includes an SPF 10, which we believe is rather low for true sun protection. A minimum of 15 is usually included for best skin protection.

The Chantecaille Future Skin foundation comes in a wide range of hues, so consumers can find the shade that best matches their personal skin tones. While the light reflective properties included in the formula may effectively camouflage flaws on the skin, there is nothing listed in the formula to suggest that it would actually treat those flaws in any way. This means that as an anti-aging product, Chantecaille Future Skin is sorely lacking the necessary substances to diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles and make skin look younger.

The Good

  • The Chantecaille Future Skin foundation offers many shades to choose from.

The Bad

  • The company website was unavailable at the time of this review.
  • The product comes with a rather high price tag.
  • There are no customer testimonials or money back guarantees that we could find.

The Bottom Line

The Chantecaille Future Skin foundation may provide adequate coverage and comes in a nice range of shades. However, with a low SPF rating and no anti-aging ingredients to speak of, we hardly think this product qualifies in the anti-aging category. In addition, products that do not provide a complete ingredient list are always a risky purchase. For anti-aging needs, consumers would be better off looking elsewhere.
