Cellfood Oxygen Gel is a specially formulated topical facial treatment designed to improve the overall appearance of skin. With all the topical skin treatments out there, it is difficult to determine which one, if any, works better than another. This review will take a closer look at the Oxygen Gel product by the Cellfood company to see if it has any merit against anti-aging.

Product Details

The Cellfood Oxygen Gel claims to be able to: renew the texture of the skin, providing a softer result, helps even and smooth the complexion, helps promote healing of bothersome skin conditions, decrease the fine lines around the eyes and mouth, helps treat dry skin, helps remove excess oil from the skin while decreasing the likelihood of acne, and helps all skin types. It can be used on blemishes, wrinkles, fine lines, sun spots, stretch marks, rashes and other irritations, skin damage, veins and bruises. It claims that its mixture of 78 ionic trace minerals, 34 enzymes, 17 amino acids, electrolytes and dissolved oxygen is the reason why it is able to help so many skin problems. The formula can be used at night, in the morning, as a quick mask, and as a moisturizer. It is important to note that breakouts may occur as the formula pulls toxins out of the body to the top of the skin. The suggested retail price is $32.95 for a two ounce jar which can last up to several months depending on the amount and frequency of use.

The Good

  • This product can be used for more than reducing the signs of aging.
  • This product is fragrance free and hypoallergenic.

The Bad

  • The product cannot be purchased from the manufacturer’s website, and can generally only be found in select health food stores.
  • We don’t see how one product could take care of nearly any skin ailment, even with so many nutrients and oxygen in the formula.
  • While an ingredient list is available, it doesn’t tell us much about the formula.

The Bottom Line

The bottom line is that the Cellfood Oxygen Gel sounds like an amazing product, but we think its claims are a bit much. If this product does all it says it does, no one else would need to use any other product to take care of their skin, especially considering this product can also be used on any other part of the body that needs a bit of help. We recommend using an anti-aging product that contains proven ingredients known to improve the appearance of skin. Regular use of said skin product is the best way to see results.

Editor's Review: 4.6 / 5.0

After looking at so many anti-aging treatments, we've seen that the delicate skin around the eyes can be a real problem area for many people. Dark circles can make you look years older, and for some people even a good night's sleep won't make them go away. That's why we were so excited to find Hydrolyze, which has been formulated by industry experts specifically as an under-eye treatment. The makers of Hydrolyze are so confident in their product that they offer potential users a Risk Free Trial so they can see the results for themselves. Hydrolyze contains the break-through ingredient Haloxyl, which has been shown to reduce under-eye discoloration between 40%-60% in a clinical case study.
