Infused with a high concentration of all-natural Chamomile, Camocare is Abkit’s anti-wrinkle line of all-natural products, all of which are priced under $20.00. Besides being an affordable skincare line for all types of skin care needs, Camocare claims that it is endorsed by leading dermatologists and nurses in the United States and Europe. Designed for sensitive skin types, each product is designed to take care of a different type of skin problem, with their Facial Therapy creams directed towards eliminating wrinkles and fine lines. According to Camocare, soothing Chamomile works by delivering antioxidant benefits to the skin cells, scientifically proven to bring skin back to a youthful appearance. They state that the product comes with no known side effects, and its easy availability online makes this a very suitable choice for consumers.

The availability and price of Camocare might please some consumers, but for those concerned about how it actually works, there is not much information available at this time. A lot can be derived by looking at its ingredients, which should offer a glimpse into its real anti-wrinkle fighting power. Camocore, unfortunately, is not as natural as it claims to be.

Product Details

Camocare’s Facial Therapy cream contains these contents: Chamomile Extract In a Base of Deionized Water, Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Glyceryl Stearate, Safflower Oil, Lanoline Oil, Squalane, Stearic Acid, Dimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Pamlitate, Carbomer, Allantoin, Methylparaben, Xanthan Gum, Triethanolamine, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Titanium Dioxide.

Camocare’s main ingredient is, not surprisingly, Chamomile Extract. This naturally-based extract is a potent relaxant that helps relax muscle tissue when digested, and when applied to the skin it has numerous benefits. One of these benefits is the ability to soothe eczema or reddened skin. The natural chemicals in chamomile easily cure these symptoms and it is said to smooth the skin. However, there are no anti-wrinkle benefits connected with chamomile extra, although it may smooth out rough, patchy skin. It appears there are no other ingredients that contain any anti-wrinkle properties, which may be a detractor for those seeking a concrete anti-wrinkle cream. Chamomile could provide some general benefits to a user’s skin, however, especially if it is generally irritated.

The Good

  • Contains Chamomile Extract, a soothing herb that smooths rough and weathered skin.
  • Camocare is very affordable and readily available through its website.

The Bad

  • Contains many preservatives and other synthetic additives.
  • Only contains one ingredient geared towards skin care.
  • Contains no ingredients that are proven to fight wrinkles.

The Bottom Line

The use of Chamomile Extract is a nice additive and a viable selling point for Camocare, but adding more anti-wrinkle ingredients would help make this useful for everyone. For those seeking general benefits, Camocare might be ideal, but for those seeking wrinkle-targeted care, it may not offer what the best available solution.

CamoCAre Soothing Cream used to be a fabulous product—I first used it 20 years ago when I had breast cancer–it soothed my radiated skin like no other topical. I also used it for rosacea–it really soothed the redness and dry patches. However, recently they changed the formula and it is terrible!! It’s dry and grainy and doesn’t soak into your skin anymore. It barely spreads! Don’t buy it. When it was good it was worth the price. No longer.

Patty is correct, the new formula does not spread well. Its not horrible by any means, but not nearly as good as the previous formula. Hopefully CamoCare will take note and remedy the situation.

I totally agree. The old formulation was great–camocare was purchased by a cut costs corporation. Its awful. Don’t waste your money.
An Example–the C-spot product used to be four ingredients the first one chamomille. Now its all chemicals. STAY AWAY!!!!

The new Camocare products have nothing to do with what was before. The company was bought by a cut-costs corporation. The new products are horrible all chemicals. Don’t waste your money. Also they should change the name.. there’s not a drop of chamomille in the products.
