Biotonen is a topical solution that is intended by the product manufacturers to be used on the skin. There does not seem to be an official website for the Biotonen product. Those who sell and market Biotonen online tell us that it will purify and rebalance the skin. Those selling Biotonen also claim that it will wipe away makeup residue and dead skin cells. It does not seem to contain any specific anti-aging ingredients, however. We are also told that it is designed to be used in conjunction with other skin care products within the same range as part of a three-step skin care regimen.

Some of the ingredients in the Biotonen solution consist of Lemon Extract, Cherry Bark Extract, Aloe Vera, Asparagus Extract and Methyl Paraben. The product is reasonably priced and can be ordered directly online from a number of online shops which sell it. We know that an ingredient such as Aloe Vera does have beneficial properties for the skin. However we are sceptical of skin care products that contain parabens, which Biotonen does. A number of cancer experts believe that parabens may have carcogenic qualities, and there has also been some indication that they can lead general irritation for users with sensitive skin.
It is unfortunate that there appears to be no official website for this product which that allow the manufacturers to give more detailed information about it. An official website would also allow the manufacturers of Biotonen to give contact details in the form of a telephone number or email address should consumers have any specific questions about the product. A whole host of other skin care products on the market also contain many of the ingredients which are in Biotonen such as Cherry bark Extract, Aloe Vera and Asparagus. We are given no information as to what makes Biotonen more effective than these other skin care products on the market.

Furthermore Biotonen contains parabens, which are thought to be carcogenic. We prefer to focus on products that do not contain parabens.
