This procedure injects botulism toxin sub-dermally on the face to paralyze the facial muscles that can cause wrinkles. This is especially effective on forehead wrinkles. Botox® injections are reasonably uncomfortable if not painful for most people and the procedure must be repeated every two to six months to maintain results. The good news is that there is a topical skin care ingredient that offers a similar result without the pain and high price tag. Argiriline is a peptide that penetrates skin to relax underlying facial muscles. We find Argiriline included in many of the best-rated anti-aging products for this reason. While Argiriline is applied daily, it is completely discomfort-free.

Another procedure offered by Beleza Medspa is the injection of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid (or HA) is a substance found naturally in the body but whose production declines as we age. HA can hold over 1,000 times its own weight in water and has been clinically-proven to deeply hydrate the skin. The good news here is that hyaluronic acid is available in higher-quality topical applications and it can easily penetrate the skin on its own, no needles required. Some of the highest-rated skin care creams and serums team hyaluronic acid up with Argiriline and another peptide called Matrixyl 3000 for dramatic and long-lasting effects on wrinkles.
