Avene Trixera is a skin care treatment that was developed by Avene, which is a company found in Paris, France. It’s stated to be an emollient cream suitable for both the face and body of adults and infants. While there is an official Avene website, this topical cream sells through a number of online dealers such as dermstore.com. The cost is around $25 per tube. The major issues addressed with Avene Trixera cream are severe dryness and moisture loss. Utilizing an array of ingredients, this skin care treatment may soften, soothe and improve the skin’s overall texture.

One particular goal of Avene Trixera cream is to “strengthen the skin’s hydrollipidic barrier.” Although this topical product contains a number of components, the primary active ingredient is Dimethicone. Avene Trixera cream is directed to be massaged into the skin twice each day for optimal results. Naturally this should be done after bathing or showering. This treatment is geared toward individuals with severely dry skin. It can be applied regularly during harsh winter months to potentially protect the skin from extreme cold and wind. Avene also offers other skin care products that are suitable for dry skin types. Some reviews are posted where Avene Trixera cream is sold online.

Product Details

Avene Trixera is a topical cream that’s suited for men, women and infants with dry facial and body skin. It doesn’t appear that there is any kind of 100% satisfaction guarantee offered with this product. The primary goal of Avene Trixera cream is to strengthen the skin’s barrier, soothe irritation and moisturize. The key component found in this cream is Dimethicone, which is claimed to promote skin healing and improve moisture levels. Free samples of Avene Trixera cream are not offered where this product is sold.

All ingredients for Avene Trixera are as follows: Avene Thermal Spring Water (Avene Aqua), Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil (Carthamus Tinctorius), Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil (Cocos Nucifera), Glycerin, Polysorbate 60, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil (Oenothera Biennis), Sorbitan Stearate, Cetyl Esters, Dimethicone, Benzyl Acid, Beta-Sitosterol, BHT, Carbomer, Chlorphenesin, Disodium EDTA, Glycine, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract (Glycine Soja), Phenoxyethanol and Sodium Hydroxide.

The Good

  • A full list of ingredients for Avene Trixera cream is posted where the product is sold.
  • This dry skin treatment can be easily purchased online through select dealers.

The Bad

  • Certain ingredients found in Avene Trixera may not be suitable for some users.
  • Avene Trixera cream is not 100% natural/ organic.
  • There is no evident money-back guarantee provided with Avene Trixera.
  • The official website for this skin care treatment is not very informative.

The Bottom Line

Overall, Avene Trixera body and face cream appears rather unique as a dry skin treatments. It’s basically a simple cream that’s applied topically twice each day to potentially assist with skin moisture levels, dryness irritation and overall skin protection. Unfortunately there are no samples of Avene Trixera cream offered to the general public, which may discourage some potential buyers. Many people prefer to test out skin products first before committing to a purchase. Especially when there is no satisfaction guarantee offered with them. While Avene Trixera will not do much to help your wrinkles, it could definitely get dry skin back on track.

I love this product. I have the most intolerant, super sensitive, over reactive, uncooperative, red all over, dry and awful skin. This product is a saving grace. My skin is calm, not reactive and feels more moist than it has in months. I have been searching for 9 months as the company that makes my moisturizer stopped making it. I went into a complete panic and have spent over $500 in products trying to find something that will work. I am thankful to have finally found this product.
