Auriderm is manufactured and marketed by AesthetiCare, a skin care company based in the United Kingdom which created the line of products to be used post cosmetic procedures. The company does not offer any other types of skin care or cosmetics to the public. Auriderm is designed to assist the healing process after cosmetic surgery procedures. Generally deep bruising occurs after a cosmetic procedure and Auriderm is designed to help reduce the bruising. However due to confusion marketing campaigns, consumers have begun to use Auriderm as an anti-aging solution. The ingredients in an anti-wrinkle product speak volumes as far as what it will actually accomplish. We will take a closer look at the ingredients to determine what if any benefits can be attained by using Auriderm.

Product Details

Auriderm is marketed as a post-procedural product which when applied topically will decrease the bruising that typically appears after cosmetic injections or other cosmetic procedures. The formula is said to contain a unique vitamin K formula which promotes faster healing of bruises. Auriderm has some how made its way into the “ant-aging” skin care arena as potentially being able to reduce the visible signs of fine lines and wrinkles. However, after examining the ingredients, the product clearly is not an anti-aging product. The full list of ingredients for Auriderm could not be located online however according to a third party website, the products main ingredients are: Water, SD Alcohol, Glycol, Vitamin K Oxide and Lecithin. No advanced anti-aging ingredients are found here.

The Good

  • Auriderm is designed to help reduce the bruising that occurs after cosmetic procedures.
  • The product contains Vitamin K which has been shown to help with bruising.

The Bad

  • Auriderm is not designed to be an anti-aging skin care product.
  • Auriderm does not contain any advanced anti-wrinkle ingredients.
  • Confusing marketing campaigns lead some to believe that the product is intended to help reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

The Bottom Line

There are many topical skin care solutions that are available on the market which are specifically designed to be an anti-aging product. Auriderm is not one of those products. The cream is meant to assist the skin to heal faster and reduce the bruising which sometimes occurs after cosmetic procedures such as injections. The key ingredient in the cream is Vitamin K which is used specifically for vascular issues and people who have a problem with bruising. There are no advanced anti-aging ingredients in the product such as Hyaluronic Acid, Argireline, Real Collagen and Matrixyl 3000. Consumers should look for these elements when searching for an anti-wrinkle product. Do your homework first and you will not only be able to make a more informed choice but a satisfactory one at that.
