The Skin Doctors have created a product called Antarctilyne. The only product under the Antarctilyne name is Antarctilyne Plump 3. The product works through skin level transfer of the ingredients which are applied via facial stickers. These stickers contain the ingredients which are absorbed through the skin. There are many warning and detailed sections with instructions and references to contacting your health care physician if there are questions about using this product. The warnings give us concern about the safety of this product.

Product Features

Despite the multiple warnings on the Skin Doctors website, there is a complete ingredient list for the Antarctilyne Plump 3 product. The ingredients include Water (Aqua), Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Tripeptide-10 Citrulline, Tripeptide-1, Lecithin, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Isopropyl Myristate, Butylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-20 Stearate, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, Cyclopentasiloxane, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Stearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Phenyl Trimethicone, PEG-100 Stearate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance (Parfum), 2-(4-tert-Butylphenyl) Propional, Hexylcinnamaldehyde, Citronellol and Linalool.

While the list is long, there are only a few ingredients worth noting. The proprietary blend called Trylagen – contains ingredients that have been shown to boost collagen in the skin. This is a good ingredient for the Antarctilyne Plump 3 product. However, the inclusion of fragrance in a facial product can be a negative. This fragrance and the included alcohol in the patch can cause skin irritation which could leave the consumer with worse skin than they started with.

The Good

  • Some of the ingredients are proven to boost collagen.
  • There is an official website offering the product for sale.
  • The price at $54.95 is comparable to other antiaging skin creams.
  • There is contact information and Q&A on the website.

The Bad

  • There are no testimonials available for this product.
  • The warnings about skin irritation leave us a bit disturbed.
  • There are numerous references to the need for medical help with the product.
  • There is no clear customer service information.
  • The ingredient list does not provide good antiaging ingredients.

The Bottom Line

There is really no evidence that the Antarctilyne Plump 3 product works to reduce the signs of aging. The multiple warnings listed on the main website leave the consumer wondering what kinds of negative effects the ingredients will have on the skin. When supporting an antiaging product, we tend to focus on the ingredient list first and this product offers none of the important ingredients proven to boost the antiaging effects.

At this time we cannot support a product with so many warnings. The consumer should steer away from the Antarctilyne Plump 3 because there may be skin irritation associated with the product and the need for a physician for after care is pronounced.
