The company that makes the Andrea line of skin care products is not a widely advertised company which is a little odd. This does seem a little out of place with all the advertising that is available today versus ten or twenty years ago. The Internet is used widely for touting the virtues of everything from health care products to machinery. But the products are available at many retailers – both online and physical stores across the country. The status of the Andrea products does not seem to have suffered from this lack of advertising. The consumer is quite pleased with their line of body and face products. This includes the Andrea Wrinkle Release Eye Cream. The anti-aging cream for the facial area had been attainable however, there does not seem to be any available at the present time.

Wrinkles which show up close to the eyes (laugh lines) can be diminished by approximately 68% when using the Andrea Wrinkle Release Eye Cream. If you are only using this product at the most a couple of times a day, this seems to be a very good percentage. A reduction in the puffiness that seems to gather around the eyes as well as those dark rings below the eyes can be visibly noticed while smoothing the skin. This is probably due to the anti-aging components and plant-based ingredients.

Product Details

Palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 is the number one ingredient in the Andrea Wrinkle Release Eye Cream. This is also known as matrixyl. Clinical studies have shown this component reduces wrinkles and lines which gather around the eyes and elsewhere on the face. The amino and fatty acids contained in the substance is what is responsible for this. Relaxing muscles in the face is one of the ways this substance along with argireline can make the face look younger. Anti-aging is affected greatly by this combination. However, argireline is not one of the ingredients in the Andrea eye cream. Another way of making the face appear younger is to direct the light away from the aspects that make you appear older. Wrinkles are one such aspect. Soft focus filters are what this aspect is called.

The Good

  • These products can be found at retail outlets near you as well as by ordering them online.
  • One of the tried and tested ingredients that is in the skin care cream is Matrixyl 3000.

The Bad

  • It is uncertain if the products can be returned or not.
  • There are no known studies that can be found to back the claims made by the company when it comes to working results.

The Bottom Line

The Andrea Wrinkle Release Eye Cream could very well be a good product and do everything it is said it will do. But there are products which contain matrixyl that have better support for their customers. This would be the choice to go with because the company that does not stand behind their products would not seem to have a strong belief in the effectiveness of the product.
