AdvanSkin Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Serum is a product made by Advanced Skin Solutions that is claimed to be an ideal moisturizer because of the properties of hyaluronic acid. This substance is claimed to be able to reduce or even reverse the visible signs of ageing in the skin, such as wrinkles, fine lines and crow’s feet.

Advanced Skin Solutions also has created several other products such as a cellulite cream and a skin cleanser. All of these are said to be able to rid the skin of wrinkles and the signs of ageing, and given that the main ingredient is said to be hyaluronic acid, it’s possible that these claims may be true for the AdvanSkin HA serum.

Product Details

Hyaluronic Acid is a popular ingredient in many anti-ageing products. The substance is actually a natural element that happens to exist abundantly in our skin when we’re young. AdvanSkin HA Serum operates on the principle that hyaluronic acid is what keeps the skin moist and pliable. However, the substance decreases with age, allowing the skin to dry out and wrinkle. For those who are prone to dry skin, this product is a very good investment to help counteract dryness. The product will more than likely aid in preventing future wrinkles from forming, but it may not quite be able to deal with pre-existing ones. If someone wants a product that will repair existing damage as well, they should probably look for something that contains the advanced peptide complex Matrixyl 3000. This goes deep into the tissue and stimulates the release of collagen and hyaluronic acid.

The Good

  • AdvanSkin HA Serum actually does have the ability to help prevent future wrinkles forming on the skin. Also, the product helps to keep the skin hydrated, which is especially important for dry skin.

The Bad

  • There are no before and after pictures posted online as testimonials on the company’s website. This makes it hard to actually see firsthand whether the product has the ability. Granted, hyaluronic acid does help, but most customers will be more swayed by images than by text.
  • No research was posted on the website either. Research does exist, but it’s all on third-party websites.
  • We could find no contact number listed. There is an email address, but business via phone is much more personalized.

The Bottom Line

The AdvanSkin HA Serum does have the ability to help fight the signs of ageing skin by stopping wrinkles where they are, but there is no research or evidence that proves it can do any more than that. If a person is satisfied with simply halting the ageing process of the skin, a product that uses hyaluronic acid may be enough, but if they want rejuvenating results, it would be better to start using something with Matrixyl as a key component, as this ingredient has been shown to work. Also, there are no official testimonials for AdvanSkin HA Serum. We prefer a product that has a few positive testimonials to accurately gauge how well it can really affect the skin’s health.
